Juan Carlos is a Co-founder of Eneas Alternative Investments and is involved in investment relations along with the strategic, management and investment processes.

Juan Carlos is also the founder of Eneas Advisory, a specialized financial advisory boutique founded in 2003. He has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and advising companies of various industrial sectors. He also has experience in debt restructuring and cost optimization.

Juan Carlos has also managed several investments in real estate distress assets.

Previously he worked in PwC where he started as an auditor and later became director of the M&A department.

Juan Carlos holds a Master degree in European Financials at IEAF and a degree in Economics at EBSI. He speaks Spanish and English.

Emilio is The General Partner heading the Real Estate Fund.

He brings more than 20 years of local real estate experience where he spent most of his professional career analysing, investing, structuring and executing real estate opportunities in Spain.

He joined from KPMG, where he was the partner leading the real estate practice. He has extensive experience in the analysis, structuring and capital raising for real estate investment opportunities, advising local and international clients in distressed situations, acting both on the buy side and the sell side.

Emilio has also worked at CBRE, BNP Paribas RE and BBVA.

He is a registered valuer member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

He holds a Capital Markets and Structure Finance Specialist title from IEB and a Management Development Program from IESE Business School – University of Navarra. He earned a Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He speaks Spanish and English.

Javier Casanueva is the Senior Advisor to Eneas Private Equity.

Javier has more than 25 years of experience in investing, managing and advising a wide variety of companies in developed and emerging markets.

Prior to Eneas Alternative Investments, as a Barings partner, Javier has led numerous investments in high growth Spanish SMEs and has held relevant Board positions. As an investment banker, he has been involved in some of the most relevant IPO and M&A transactions in Latam and Spain. He is currently non-executive chairman of Mirada Plc, an AIM quoted leading provider of software solutions for digital TV operators.

Javier was based in Madrid (1999-2014) as a partner in Baring Private Equity Partners España, a private equity firm specialised in buy-out/growth capital for mid-market companies. In the following 14 years, Barings raised three funds with an aggregate size of €300m, all of them specialised in the Spanish SME sector.

Javier started his career in 1989 as an investment banker at Baring Brothers (Madrid). In 1994, he moved to New York as a VP in Baring Securities Latam Corporate Finance team specialising in IPO/M&A transactions. He was subsequently appointed Managing Director of ING Barings M&A Latam team.

Javier holds a degree in law and a degree in business economies from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid. Javier speaks Spanish, English and French.

Jaime is a Co-founder of Eneas Alternative Investments and is involved in investment relations along with the strategic, management and investment processes.

He has over 15 years of experience in company management along with investment management in very different sectors. Prior to Eneas Alternative Investments, Jaime led the development of his Family Office, based in Madrid, having participated in more than 20 deals with more than €100M in value in a variety of sectors. Previously he worked for 5 years at Pepsico as a Marketing Manager managing the Gatorade brand among other responsibilities.

Jaime is a Board Member of several mid caps in the Family Office portfolio.

Jaime holds a MBA from the IE Business School and a Bachelors degree in Managerial Economics from Bentley University. He speaks Spanish and English and is fluent in French.

Jose is the Private Equity investment director of Eneas Alternative Investments. Prior Eneas, Jose was co funder of 2MNP where he advised three M&A deals with a value of €50m and implement several strategic plans to leader firms and for Start Ups. Previously he worked as investment director in SES Iberia Private Equity, fund specialized in Spanish mid market, where he was 7 years and took part in more than 10 deals in growth capital, with a value of more than €400m. He also worked as strategy consultant in Bain & Company for 3 years.

Jose holds a bachelor of Business Administration by the Nova School of Business and an MBA with honors in INSEAD. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Carmen is the Investment Director of the Real Estate Fund.

Carmen has over 5 years of experience in the financial and real estate markets, managing portfolios across the Spanish geography. She joined Eneas Alternative Investments from Azora, where she was part of the Asset Management team.

Prior to Azora, Carmen was the area manager of the Real Estate Division at Eneas Advisory Services, where she specialized in distressed asset management and in the purchase and sale of distressed assets. She has prior experience in strategic and operational consulting for private and public entities.

Carmen holds an engineering degree in industrial organisation and a technical engineering degree in industrial engineering in mechanics, both from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI).

Miguel is general partner and leads de management of the Real Estate fund.

He founded with Juan Carlos Eneas Advisory. Has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and strategy advisory in buyouts and operational reorganization of public and private entities. During 5 years, he leads the purchase and management of distress real estate assets, through Eneas distress Asset Management. Has experience in shopping’s centers, retail, and management and development of land for residential and commercial use.

Miguel holds a bachelor’s degree by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, excellence award by the Royal School of Mines and the Imperial College of London. Also holds an Economic and Management Master of energetic companies by Instituto Superior de la Energía and IESE “Cum Laude”.
